Meet the Team

Mrs Charlotte Harris

Hello my name is Charlotte and I am the Manager of the Nursery.  I have worked in early years for 30 years in total, the last 24 at this Nursery and can honestly say I have loved every minute of it.  I am very much a 'hands on' manager and enjoy playing with the children as much as possible.  I particularly like tactile play - some say I am even messier than the children!

I live locally with my four children and enjoy spending time and having fun with my family especially at the weekends.

I love being outdoors especially going on long walks, I like anything to do with history and on those rare quiet occasions I like reading and particularly like Stephen King (you thought I was going to say The Gruffalo didn't you)

Mrs Lorraine Watson  BA,  Dip. Cl. Std, Cert EY Prac

Hello my name is Lorraine and I am the Early Years Teacher here at the Nursery.  A large part of my role is to ensure we all follow closely the guidelines as laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance.  I lead the Pre-School Room and aim to give the children a rich and varied environment in which to blossom, to learn and above all have fun.  I also hold a qualification in Paediatric First Aid (lumps and bumps), a Level 5 Introductory Diploma in Leadership and Management (resources and reports) and a Level 2 in Food Safety in Catering (custard and cakes).

I live in Gotham with my husband Paul and two sons.  I enjoy spending time and going out and about with my family and particularly like theatre, music, cinema and reading (when I get the chance).

Mrs Hilary Holland

Hello my name is Miss Hilary and I am the Cook here at the Nursery.  I have worked here since the nursery first opened 1992.  I have several qualifications such as NVQ 'Food Safety in Catering' and
I have also attended many food related courses such as 'Fussy Eaters' and "Allergies, Intolerances and Sensitivities'.

I am a keen gardener and have enjoyed assisting and advising the children during their vegetable planting activities.  I love my motorbike and go out out as much as I can either riding or taking part in other 'petrol-head' activities.

I attend the gym every day and enjoy keeping fit and healthy.  I have every year taken part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon which is tough - but someone's got to do it!
